You would think that a lineup which includes
John & Stasi Eldredge, Michael W. Smith, Frank Peretti, Erwin
McManus, MercyMe, Paul Baloche, William Paul Young (writer of
The Shack), Brian Doerksen, Shane Claiborne, NewWorldSon, Dr.
Leonard Sweet, Brenton Brown, Dr. Neil Anderson, and Matt Maher
would be enough. You would think that 160 classes in 27 tracks
from leadership to creative arts to spiritual renewal would be
plenty. But then, Break Forth Canada adds an interactive
ministry fair, a nightly Christian festival filling downtown
Edmonton with jazz, rock, folk, and blues, and Bananas Comedy
Hour. It’s no wonder it sells out in November each year. Break
Forth Canada 2009 will be held January 30 – February 1 in
Edmonton. People travel worldwide to join 15,000 in this weekend
of worship, renewal and equipping. Break Forth Canada is
sponsored by Break Forth Ministries, an evangelical ministry
that reaches world-wide with training conferences, concerts,
workshops and resources, including the second Break Forth
Finland this September. The vast influence of Break Forth
Ministries was acknowledged when Alberta Venture Magazine
recently named founder Dr. Arlen Salte as one of Alberta’s 50
Most Influential People.

For Six Days in July, an Epic Portrayal of
the Life of Christ happens in Drumheller, AB. More than 10,000
people were witness to this amazing event in 2008. We encourage
you to plan now to be a part of it in 2009! Be carried back 2000
years to the land and events that changed the course of history.
This dramatic portrayal of the life, death and resurrection of
Jesus Christ in an acoustically superb natural bowl amphitheatre
will make you feel like you are actually there. The
scripture-based script and music, realistic set and costumes,
quality performances and remarkable similarity of the site to
the Holy Land all add to the experience. In this natural
amphitheatre, every one of the 2500 seats is a good one. Regular
changes to the script, production, cast and set make each year’s
performance a unique one. Each performance is 3 hours long
including a twenty minute intermission. The Canadian Badland’s
Passion Play has been identified as "One of Alberta’s Top
Cultural Attractions" by Attractions Canada and one of the "Top
100 Events in North America" by the American Bus Association. To
reserve tickets to the 2009 event call toll free 1-888-823-2001.
