Youth For Christ Calgary (YFC) is looking for mentors for teenaged
boys at risk in Calgary. One pre-teenaged boy was impacted by
significant abandonment at an early age and due to family issues,
has had numerous emotional and life challenges to overcome. He has
learning difficulties at school and has ADHD. He struggles with his
self-esteem and with managing his anger and mood swings. In his
current, new environment, his life has only recently begun to turn
around for the better. In order to reframe his life experiences and
anchor him, this young man would benefit greatly from a stable,
trustworthy, caring male role model. One young man lives just west
of Calgary and another teen lives in the south end of the City.
