Canadian Soldier song to support troops

Calgary, AB – Dan Preston from Calgary wrote a poem entitled The Canadian Soldier to honor all of the Canadian Forces members from past, present and future and to show his heart and pride for what our Canadian service personnel have, are and will go through in their combat roles with the Canadian forces.

At the suggestion of his wife, Dan approached a Calgarian songwriter to help him turn this poem into The Canadian Soldier song. The net proceeds from the sale of the song CD and other related merchandise of the Canadian Soldier Project will be donated to the "Support Our Troops Trust Fund" of the National fallen soldiers and provide financial assistance to military families in need.

For those individuals or companies that may be looking for a practical way to support Canadian service personnel, you can now make a contribution to a trust account that has been established at ATB Financial Branches.

Simply ask for "The Canadian Soldier Project – Trust Account." A contribution made at any ATB in Alberta will help to cover the costs associated with the initial production and distribution of the CD and allow more of the net profits to be sent directly to the "Support Our Troops Trust Fund."
